Supported the research, education and outreach missions impacting stakeholders across UC Irvine, the UC Irvine Health Medical Center, and Orange County by overseeing a portfolio of programmatic, strategic and operational activities in alignment with the interests of the University and the National Cancer Institute's Cancer Center's program.Led a dedicated two-person team in implementing a five-year cycle of system and program enhancements spanning research development, data collection, information systems, event coordination and operational optimization.Served as a key liaison between senior leadership and diverse internal and external stakeholders, building partnerships to strengthen cancer research initiatives within the University, the community, and the broader NCI Cancer Center network.

Worked alongside the Faculty Director and leadership team to mature an early-stage University initiative into a globally competitive program through faculty recruitment, program development and industry partnerships. As the sole staff: served as the chief liaison to internal and external stakeholders; established operational and governance frameworks; developed targeted communications, launched programs and implemented resource management strategies; oversaw co-curricular programs supporting graduate students from over a dozen UC Berkeley programs; coordinated several joint faculty searches; and led interdisciplinary faculty teams to establish the Computational Biology PhD program and an annual research symposium.

Worked alongside the Department Chair following a major departmental reorganization. Developed and managed Chair's Office workflows and communications while also overseeing general administrative support services and leading special projects, including the department website redesign and an overhaul of course evaluation processes.Served as chief liaison to faculty, staff and the Dean’s Office, significantly contributing to the development of a productive post-reorganization culture. Awarded 1 of 2 College of Natural Resources Outstanding Staff Awards for 2006 and appointed by the Dean to the college-wide Staff Climate Committee.
