I worked as a laboratory assistant during my national youth service corps (NYSC) in police clinic lafia, Nasarawa state. I support the scientists and technicians in conducting various test and experiment. The main duties include preparing test samples, keeping lab records and documenting test findings as well as receiving, labelling and analyzing samples (blood, stool, urine etc.) Designing and executing laboratory testing according to standard operating procedures. I also undergone my one year industrial training at Nisa premier hospital, Fct Abuja. And i also did a four months students industrial work experience scheme (SIWES) at National hospital Abuja. I was posted to histopathology department to observe how autopsy is been carried out, how to embalm corpse, staining of tissue samples among others. My adaptability, communication and analytical skills are excellent. I have been praised as efficient by my superiors in my past work placement. Attention to details, independence, good management practice, patience, decisiveness, excellent writing skills, team working skills among others.
