Bamidele Obende is an Electronic Payments Professional with about 20 years experience in Information Systems Software Engineering. He obtained a B.Sc degree in Computer Science from the University of Benin, Benin - City in 1999 and an MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS ) in 2013.He started his working career in Softworks Limited, a subsidiary of Telnet Nigeria Limited in 2001 as a Service Line Analyst. He was responsible for the designing, planning and implementation of various IT Software Technology Solutions for clients in Banks, Oil and Gas and Telecommunication sectors in Nigeria. One of the projects in which he actively participated in from scratch was in the designing, planning and implementation of the IT infrastructure of Interswitch Limited. Due to his hardwork and dedication he received several promotions and rose to become a Service Line Manager in Softworks Limited. In early 2007, he became the Head of Electronics Payment Unit of Softworks Limited and has subsequently involved in providing Electronic Payments solutions for the the Nigerian market . He has in particular been involved in the sales, implementation, roll out and management of ATM solutions for most of the banks in Nigeria. His team has been adjudged several times by the banks and even by ATM Community an independent assessor as the best ATM Support Team in West Africa. Bamidele has attended several trainings and seminars within Nigeria and abroad and is equally a certified Prince 2 Project Manager. He left Softworks Limited in July, 2017.
