My primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the POS application, PULS. Key tasks include daily monitoring, maintaining system stability, conducting security checks, and performing both manual and automated processes. Specifically, I:• Perform Daily Checks: Verify agent operation, review event logs, and create daily autogiro delivery notes.• Manage Weekly Tasks: Remove unnecessary data files to prevent storage issues.• Handle Backup and Recovery: Execute full and incremental backups and coordinate recovery efforts with the Storage Department.• Conduct Special Database Routines: Maintain the MessageStore by managing data volumes.• Monitor and Compress Log Files: Regularly compress and archive large log files, and monitor security logs.• Maintain Automated Routines: Oversee various automated services across nodes for data transfer and filtering.• Address Errors and Updates: Resolve operational issues, perform necessary updates, and refine workflows and system integrationsWhile working at Bane NOR as a developer, I applied a unique blend of technical expertise and specialized knowledge.
