To investigate, document and improve handling, packaging and delivery procedures within BPW Axles.Investigate BPW parts for packaging, handling and delivery; create works instructions and procedures for packaging standards.Implement and train relevant operators on above packaging, handling and delivery standards. Monitor and audit above procedures and works instructions. Help create safety procedures according to the safety management system. Design, implement and maintain safety procedures for the BPW Axles safety management system. 7. Perform time motion studies on various workstations on production line. 8. Perform ergonomic studies on various workstations and other areas with the Manufacturing, dispatch and stores area

Period of Employment: 02 February 2008 – 31th of April 2011Main Duties: QUALITY AND PRODUCTIONControl product quality at all stages of the cement manufacturing process though the use of statistical process control (SPC). Co-ordinate plant resources to meet production demands and prevent any failures.First level inspection of all plant equipment in all conditions.Assistant supervisor in the packing plant.Monitors the material handling in the plant, stock level and making sure that we have enough storage for raw materials and finished product. Compile and submit plant reports at the end of shift.
