Enterprise Architecture team is responsible for development & delivery of all the shared frameworks that business line development groups use to develop business specific services, IT processes and the Strategy for the Next Generation of E*TRADE Financial’s technology. This includes providing architectural governance for all projects that E*Trade undertakes as well as roll out of best practices and tools to ensure consistent and quality deliverable for all development groups within the company.* Architected, Proposed, Evangelized and Lead the development of E*TRADE’s Next Generation architecture framework to upgrade the website towards a multilingual, multichannel(wireless, voice & web), personalized, Web 2.0 user experience supported by Oauth based delegated authorization, Jive based Community and Comet based streaming functionality. This will be the first major upgrade to the retail website technology stack by the architecture team in the last 6 years that will support the My E*Trade & Community experience for all the business units.* Architected the Migration program to migrate the company databases (from primarily Sybase) to Oracle 11g Product Suite. This includes the use of their BPMS suite, TimesTen, GoldenGate, ODI and other major products in addition to the migration/fallback of main database engine and the (middle) services layer.

Responsible for directly managing a software development group that delivers E*Trade financial services products in Brokerage(for the Active Trader market) & Banking. * Launched “first in industry” products based on streaming quotes (MarketTrader, EtradePro and MarketCaster) for the Active Trader customer segment. MarketTrader platform was then internationalized for use by over ten E*TRADE international sites.* Technology lead responsible for acquisition and integration of Telebank, Inc., Loansdirect, GE Financial Services and CCS (ATM network) with E*TRADE.* Launched among the online brokerage industry, first of its kind, integration of E*TRADE’s website with streaming digital video media from internally produced as well as Wall Street On Demand’s programming. * Designed and developed a highly scalable and reusable(across business units) Alerts platform via all channels(e-mail, wireless, voice) that was deployed to launch E*TRADE’s Advanced Order (trailing stops and bracketed orders) as well as provide for Lending and Banking(bill pay, balance, rate, deposit) alerts.

Responsibilities for managing multiple Board level, mission critical, large-scope projects, cross-divisional implementation teams in the United States and Europe. Project management was full cycle from RFPs, to conceptualization through implementation in a geographically distributed, cross-functional and international setting. Managed a geographically distributed (Europe, Asia and the Americas) staff.* Launched a new service for SWIFT allowing secure interactive traffic to complement the existing store-and-forward messaging service. CREST (Share Settlement system for the UK Stock Exchange), ABN AMRO Bank and Deutsche Bank were some the early users of the service and was the fasted growing revenue generator for the company.* Developed artificial intelligence based Customer Support stations and operator management stations to provide hands off diagnostic and problem resolution capability, increasing support calls efficiency and increasing global service availability.* Participated as core member, authoring the SWIFT message standards for worldwide working group, designing message formats and contributing to ISO standards, including the more recent ISO 15022 message standards.

Responsible for the design and development of core components of the new SWIFT II global messaging network. SWIFT II was a two year multi-million dollar project to replace the highly available SWIFT I(BSC based) network to the next generation(X.25 based) worldwide network. My team built the two key modules(regional processor and gateway) of this network providing high reliability and smooth migration of over 2000 banks in over 150 countries.

Responsible for supervising design and development group, maintenance of I/O module of the Unisys MCP operating system software, and Burroughs GEMCOS/COMS messaging control system software. Provide system software support to major banks like, Credit Agricole, France.* My group built one of a kind Unisys mainframe operating system that could penetrate the IBM mainframe market by mimicking the IBM System/36 operating system using a simple toggle of a software switch.
