I have been directing, conceiving and coordinating festivals, conferences, research projects, usually fostering partnership and collaboration between cultural institutions and independent creative scenes.As a free-lance researcher in arts and culture, my activities focus on non-conventional forms of creativity in communication, often adopting artistic attitudes and strategies in non-art contexts and vice-versa. As a teacher, my areas of interest range from history of new media art to social and radical use of images in social networks and transmedia projects; up to the exploration of new, global subcultural forms that redefine the idea of communal life and imagination in a post-digital scenario.
