Drops is an addictive visual language app that makes learning a new language fun. After a blissful 2-year sabbatical eschewing most tech, I've decided to jump back and join this small, inspiring team. Why? Download the Drops app and you'll know. As is clear from my profile I love disruptive products in the visual communication/learning space. And on a personal level, the only tech I didn't eschew during my sabbatical was language learning apps. As someone who has decided to learn a second language late in life, I need all the help I can get. There are a lot of great language apps out there but none that resonated as immediately as Drops did. It nails the fundamentals of visual communication: visual association -> enhanced memory. And it's just so well designed. And fun. I use it on my own and as an auxiliary tool with my Spanish tutor. And when self-doubt seeps in during my seemingly endless struggle to learn the subjunctive mood, I use it to boost my confidence by picking up new vocabulary. This sounds more like a commercial than job description, but it's true. It's why I'm jumping back in. To help transform this remarkable app into a global leader.
