At TogetherV, we help people design memorable moments for their loved ones. We automate & solve the difficulty in managing multiple ends - ranging from venue selection, food, gifts, decoration, and an overall unique setup while making arrangements for a perfect romantic/special experience for our users. My work involves:a) End to end development of entire TogetherV system including Website, Admin Panel, TogetherV Gifts. b) LAMP Tech stack and deployment using PHP-FPM and Nginx on AWS.c) TogetherV Mobile App for iOS and Android using React Native.d) Hiring a team to handle Sales, Operations, Corporate Tie-ups.e) ZOHO CRM implementation for sales team and synchronization with TogetherV Backend.

1. My Account & Communication team (Team Strength: 7):a) Ownership of the My Account section and its supporting sections of the Shopclues.com website.b) Common login system (login.shopclues.com) across Desktop & Mobile website, and Mobile Apps.c) Communication via Email, SMS, Push Notifications to customers and vendors.2. Billing team (Team Strength: 8):a) Successfully led the team to complete GST changes in the billing system of ShopClues.b) Invoice & Credit Note generation as a service for customers as per old & new tax system. c) Tax as a service to retrieve tax components on different goods & services as per their HSN & SAC codes.d) Payout & Credit Management for ShopClues merchants.3. Reporting team (Team Strength: 7):a) Responsible for generating Order related reports required by different teams in ShopClues.b) Currently working on integrating Order Service Ticketing (OST) system inside the reporting system. c) Data from multiple DB tables are captured in different Kafka Topics by reading MySQL DB bin-logs, using Open Replicator, and then aggregated in reporting warehouse. 4. TinyURL – URL shortening service: a) End-to-end ownership of a URL shortening service used across the entire Shopclues.com system.b) Self-managing the availability of the service and the backend database system.5. Security & Optimization Fixes:a) Lead a team of 3 people to complete the patching of existing API backend code for SQL Injection. b) Self fixed SQL Injections in all the Billing scripts when the team was busy with GST changes.c) Help remove unused Adobe Test & Target scripts from website’s homepage and help drop ~65 unused cookies, being set for over a year.d) Encrypted & secured the URL that was leaking user’s email. Transformed old URLs saved in DB.

1. Events Aggregation Framework:a) Captures all the events sent by more than 5M devices on which Cube26 software is shipped. The framework is designed to be multilayered for easy maintenance.b) Django to provide API endpoints for posting data. Kafka to temporarily hold the data on different topics. c) Consumers to read the messages from Kafka topics and save them in the PostgreSQL database. 2. PostgreSQL DB Cluster Setup & Maintenance:a) Holds more than 1 Billion rows of user events data. Designed to provide Failover, High Availability & Load balancing capabilities. b) Encryption & DB access levels to restrict the access of sensitive data such as SMS and contacts.c) Cube26 Marketplace, REOS suites of apps, RMN library run on the same postgres cluster.d) Regular maintenance of the nodes in the cluster, data in tables, and custom views.3. Spam Classification comparison with Google Compute Engine & IBM Watson:a) Cube26 Messaging app classifies user’s text messages into 3 categories namely - Main, Notifications, Promos (Spam) using an in-house classification algorithm.b) Receiver Operating Characteristics (ROC) of Cube26 Spam classification algorithm was compared with that of Google Compute Engine and IBM Watson NLP engine.c) Classification for over 300K messages was done & ROC graph was plotted, used during the REOS Message launch.4. Automated APK Build System:a) Generates the release APK file for Cube26 Android apps and signs it with the Play Store-signing key.b) Clones the code in an isolated environment, generates a release APK file, and maintains a repository of all the past apps shipped by Cube26. 5. Cube26 Cloud messaging (CCM) using MQTT Framework:a) Initial POC was done with the Emqtt and mosquitto library.b) CCM backend architecture development.6. Ad Network Integration of the events framework with Mobile ROI platforms – Apsalar & Appsflyer.7. Growth and event summary dashboards for Cube26 Business team and different mobile vendors.

1. Dynamic Pricing Engine:a) Functionality to sell rooms at different prices on different dates. Support for bulk hotel pricing update.b) Supports different pricing sources for the same room to provide better support for OTA integration. Each pricing source can define its separate pricing criteria.2. API V2 development and integration:a) Built a secure layer over the existing API to enhance the security of the system. Supports IP-based restriction, restricted API access, masked IDs, and is immune to replay attacks, by using nonce based checksum authentication method.c) API optimization and its integration with ZO Rooms’ iOS & Android app, and with external vendors - Little (ZOVI), and Axis Rooms.3. Code scalability and refractor:a) Mentored a team of 3 people for code refractor and bug fixing in the existing Django codebase. The website and the backend application (CRS) very rarely threw an error/exception after this exercise.b) Better cache implementation to speed up Django code performance. 4. QA framework development:a) Mentored a team of 4 people to develop an automated testing framework for the existing API & backend code. b) The QA framework was deployable through Jenkins and tested the code continuously to help improve the code quality. 5. DevOps:a) Basic server management on Amazon AWS & Git code management.

Revamped the old and outdated version of Visual Website Optimizer. An active member of the product development team and the QA team. Ensured end-to-end and timely deliverability of the product.3. Worked with an offsite team (Extentor Tquila) to get an end to end working Salesforce CMS for the Sales Team. 4. Active Member of VWO recruitment team. Helped hire product engineers, customer support engineers, and sales managers.5. Speeded up the statistical calculations of the product to make the reports load 10X faster.6. Added and enhanced multiple functionalities such as Geo Segmentation Targeting, Heatmaps, Clickmaps, Cross Browser Testing, and various others over the period of 4 years. 7. Helped sales representatives with technical assistance during sales calls.8. Educated freshers and interns about VWO and making sure that they properly understand the work that is assigned to them.9. As the member of the pilot team, I also did customer support over email, Skype, and Webex.

Quality Assurance – Worked in the Very Large Databases (VLDB) simulations group at Oracle India Development Centre, Bangalore on testing of new data warehousing features of Oracle Database & enhancing product quality by identifying various defects like Crashes, Hangs, Concurrency/Scalability issues, Feature Correctness, Performance Bottlenecks etc. I have worked on “Edition Based Redefinition” feature that enables upgradation of the database component of an application while it is in use thereby minimizing or eliminating down time.OraBeats – A collaboration environment: An intra network socio-micro blogging platform using which information can be passed from one individual to others or to a group at various hierarchical levels within the Oracle. The project was started with an aim of building a “Searchable Repository” of information and improving the scope of collaboration within the local Oracle network. I was awarded the Oracle-UROC award by Vice President of Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) team for this project.
