Technocrats is team of Sinhgad Institute Engineering students competing in an international event ' Global space balloon challenge SA '. GSBC is prestigious competition in which we have to launch a high altitude balloons made by using latex material and they are filled with either hydrogen or helium and carry small payloads up to around 100,000 ft.My roles in team are - - Design a payload system for balloon - Idea of payload is to use MRF fluid to damp the vibrations during the flight , and secure delicate functional things like DNA structures , microbes or any bio-logical material in balloon - Make a schedule for team and check progress of work and accordingly take further decisions

Astrover challenge is engineering competition , the goal of competition is to design a human powered space rover by considering various factors like surface conditions (rock , water , sand or muddy surfaces ) , efficiencies , ergonomics etcMy role in positions is to check progress in technical field suggesting solutions in designs , analysis and manufacturing areas.(Dates of competitions are postponed )

My role in the project are- Design rocket structure and internal parts- Total system design of rocket - Manage and schedule the development of the project - Strategic planning and decision making- Monitoring the project progress and accordingly managing cash flow

STES Rocketry team is of a group of enthusiastic undergrads from Sinhgad Institutes, Pune who design, build and launch solid propellent sounding rockets and showcase them at one of the world's largest Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition, ESRA's Spaceport America Cup, held at Las Cruces-NM, USA. We have been participating in the 10,000 feet COTS(Commercial off the shelf) category for the past two years and have been successful in launching both the times.My roles in the projects are -- Design subsystem like Avionics sections systems - Designing parachutes - Performing analysis of parts and system ( modal analysis of nosecone of rocket , static and dynamic analysis of bulkheads , checking for failure conditions of system like rocket structure body)
