As a Principal Systems Development Engineer at Dell Technologies, I have honed my skills in designing and developing Network Interface Card (NIC) projects for server product lines, with a focus on high-speed digital interfaces and communication bus interfaces. I have also demonstrated proficiency in issue management, test fixture design, NUDD implementation, continuous supply, and relationship building.Prior to my current role, I served as an Electrical Hardware Engineer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, a hardware developer focused on NICs and network switches for the server industry. I led the team’s hardware design efforts, overseeing four different OEM vendors (Intel, Broadcom, Mellanox, Cavium) and managed project development. Our most exciting work to date was creating the first 25Gb/s and 100Gb/s NICs, which were the fastest Ethernet network adapters in the world and played a key role in the successful launch of the HPE server option in 2016. Building that product was a fun and rewarding experience.Earlier in my career, I gained valuable experience at Quanta Computer Inc., the world's largest notebook computer ODM company. There, I worked with top-tier clients such as Google, ASUS, Acer, and Fujitsu, and honed my skills in hardware architecture design, board design and bring-up, high-speed signal validation, and high-volume manufacturing support.I hold an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Taiwan University and a B.A. from the National Sun Yat-Sen University.I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other innovators. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I find it particularly exciting to work with talented engineers or business unit leaders to understand their creative ideas and project strategies. As we go through that collaborative process, ideas start to flow, and that’s always the fun part.If you'd like to connect with me, please feel free to reach out at j96921014@ntu.edu.tw. I'm always interested in hearing from former colleagues, managers, and other creative individuals.
