Studied the use of SIMD parallel processing techniques for accelerating VVC (H.266) video:• Reviewed previous research works on SIMD accelerations and VVC video • Proposed a C algorithm leveraging SIMD capabilities of Intel CPUs to accelerate matrix multiplications in a VVC decoder, reaching up to 7x speed-up.• Presented results at a team seminar and in the form of a research paper.
