As a competition economist at the Belgian Competition Authority (Chief Economist Team), my work involves merger control, abuse of dominance investigations, and sectoral studies. I combine theoretical and empirical quantitative methods to examine antitrust issues, tailoring my approach to the particularities of each case.Besides competition, I have a deep interest in corporate tax avoidance. I have had the privilege to collaborate with impactful policy institutions such as the United Nations and the French Council of Economic Analysis, regarding multinationals' activities in tax havens. Furthermore, my research in business taxation has received recognition from: 🏆 Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (Best PhD dissertation in all fields of science), 🏆 United Nations (Best Research Work on International Investment and Development), and 🏆 EU Tax Observatory (Young Researcher Award). I hold a PhD in Economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, an MRes in Economics from the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, and an Engineering degree in Statistics from ENSAE Paris.
