The future of shopping is now.I hired on as Zippin's first operations employee and led all operations including building the team from scratch, developing new processes for an emergent industry, and creating the playbooks for all aspects of launching an autonomous store. Executed successfully on every facet of global supply, physical deployment and customer support that enabled Zippin’s rapid growth while the company has become a co-leader in checkout-free technology alongside Amazon. My primary responsibilities included: -Supply Chain: A global hardware supply chain - my team managed all aspects of sourcing, procurement, contract manufacturing, warehousing and logisitics-Installation: Led Zippin employees and 3rd party contractors who led projects to deploy Zippin stores including network setup, IoT device installation, device configuration, cloud setup, end-to-end testing, and retailer training & onboarding-Tech Support: A 24/7, follow-the-sun tech support organization that proactively monitored our IoT devices and cloud systems to ensure smooth operation of Zippin's stores worldwide and managed incident response for high-severity issues-Strategic Programs: Oversaw program managers who led strategic, cross-functional programs in partnership with sales, finance, engineering, and hardware including new product introduction (NPI)
