• CAD Modeled (Autodesk Inventor, ANSYS), optimized, manufactured, and tested calibration tools, high pressure (3000 psi) water systems, air compressor filtration systems, based on customer quality requirements and specifications.• Led a team of 4 engineers/technicians for manufacturing, transportation, and assembly operations of the Electric Bicycle Project (REVA), including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and powder coating in China, Turkey, and the USA. • Led and launched 5 new products worth more than $450,000 in 4 months and promoted to company partner.

• Provided manufacturing decision-making information by considering production, labor, transportation, and material costs and capabilities of the local and foreign suppliers/manufacturers.• Led a total of 11 awarded contract-based projects worth more than $150,000. • Developed an AI that can detect, categorize, and track the target objects by using Faster RCNN architecture.

• Ensured the functionality of the various laboratory equipment and mentored students about aerodynamics concepts, experimental procedures, scientific reporting, MATLAB, and Simulink software. • Evaluated 75 student’s weekly lab reports and held office hours.

• Developed a technique to predict the location and strength of the tornadoes from acoustic radiation data gathered from CFD solutions of the EF5 Tornado.• Proved that applying Lighthill's acoustic analogy gives more accurate and detailed results than beamforming algorithms.• Found that sources of the low-frequency acoustic radiation from tornadoes are focused on low altitudes and consequently the shape, number, and distribution of the microphone arrays are optimized.• Developed an algorithm, written in both C++ and python after testing on UF’s supercomputer for more than 350 hours.

• Conducted ground tests on pressure-fed liquid-propellant rocket engine and subcomponents.• Researched optimal testing fluids for cold flow tests that were compatible with apparatus material and accurately replicated the densities of actual propellants

• Conducted thermal and shock flow analysis to improve the flow around the high-speed vehicle in a low-pressure tube to reduce the drag coefficient by 28%.• Designed several cooling system concepts for electrical equipment and batteries.

• Conducted detailed research about the shock-wave boundary layer interaction.• Reported detailed analysis of injecting fluid particles into the boundary layer to prevent possible shock-wave boundary layer separations.

• Created a successful and accredited entrepreneurship hackathon that has been organized in 80+ universities and empowering 10,000+ students in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation every year.• Led a team of 20 members and ensured that they were fulfilling their responsibilities to put the determined marketing strategy into practice. As a result of my team’s efforts, 100+ teams applied to the very first event. • Received 100+ team applications for the very first event which gave us a chance to collaborate with major entrepreneurship platforms and franchise the same concept to other cities and universities.

• Conducted coordination of the territory executives for periodic after-sale services and data collection from the customers.• Developed a new sales plan and new business model for the USA, based on the target customer’s needs and market gaps.• Received the “Best Entrepreneurial Spirit Award” out of 250+ applications from “Big Idea Business Plan Competition” conducted by UF Warrington College of Business.

• Provided on-campus support for the FNSS recruitment team by giving them insights for sponsorships and increased awareness about the company on the METU campus.• Placed 1st out of 30 applications and gave consultation to invest $40,000 on marketing & sponsorship spending.

This project was my final project of Mechanical Engineering Education at the Middle East Technical University (METU).

• Recruited 50+ members for the organization of the event within two weeks and delegated them to communicate with the representatives of the sponsor companies.• Led sponsorship negotiations (garnered over $21,000) for the largest career event in the METU and managed the budget.• Led the team to organize 400+ interviews (out of 1200+ applications) with 11 companies within 10 hours.

• Led negotiations for sponsorship with FNSS, Mercedes-Benz, and MSC Logistic, which garnered over $30,000 and technical sponsorships for the development of the formula student car.

TEDxMETUAnkara is the largest TEDx event made in Ankara, the capital city of Turkey. As a member of the finance department, I was responsible for finding sponsorships for the TEDx event which improved my communication skills and gave me an opportunity to met with lots of managers from many companies.

• Researched static-testing methods of the solid propellant rocket engines.• Conducted CFD analysis on the outer flow of the model rocket for fin design.• Designed and tested different nozzles to observe various supersonic flow phenomena.

• Designing and Analyzing quadcopter parts with SolidWorks.• Programming quadcopter with Arduino.• Enhancing teamwork capabilities by creating case studies and collaborating with a team of students and engineers.

• Designed and optimized a low-turbulence (%0.2) open wind tunnel with a 16% contraction rate, (0.6m x 0.6m) square test section, and 30 m/s test section flow velocity. The power requirement of the tunnel reduced to 50 kW from 80 kW.• Developed a frame design for a military nano-sized drone which is used in the final product after optimizations.• Designed and produced a "composite plate production counter" by using Light Resin Transfer Molding.

• Utilized Kaizen ideology on the transmission manufacturing line. As a result of my final report, the source of the ongoing manufacturing defect on the transmission case is found and $100,000+ loss is saved with less than $1,000 investment.• Observed manufacturing, heat treatment, and testing processes used in the factory such as milling, boring, grinding, hobbing, honing, friction-welding, tempering, carburizing, and normalizing.
