I am a partner in Lewis Wagner’s litigation and employment groups—supporting clients across a variety of litigation needs including general civil defense, premises liability, product liability, construction accident and defect cases, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death. Additionally, I work with employers across all jurisdiction levels for labor and employment matters including FMLA, ADA, FLSA compliance, wage claims, employment litigation and more. In an era where most civil cases settle, I have successfully tried several jury trials and prepared and argued numerous complex motions in both state and federal court.In 2020, I was humbled to be selected as Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana’s Young Lawyer of The Year and then also selected as a 2022 “Up & Coming” Lawyer by The Indiana Lawyer Leadership in the Law program. I am an active member of ALFA International’s Hospitality and Retail Practice and Labor & Employment group, including chairing the 2024 Hospitality & Retail Annual Seminar. I have also chaired numerous regional programs, presented at seminars, and continue to serve as a contributing member of each practice group’s steering committee. Currently, I also serve as the Indianapolis Bar Association’s DEI Director.Prior to law school, utilizing my B.S. in construction engineering from Purdue University, I worked as a field engineer for Mass Electric Construction Company. In connection with Houston’s light rail mass transit expansion project, I coordinated with and drafted contracts for sub-contractors and served as the project’s Environmental Compliance Manager. Subsequently, I also served as a Conduit & Utilities Field Engineer in Los Angeles for the I-405 highway expansion project. My engineering degree and prior work experience have tremendously helped me best serve clients in complex construction cases.Outside of work and the community, I’m an avid basketball and baseball fan rooting for my Purdue Boilermakers, Houston Rockets, and Houston Astros. I love spending time with my wife and son, friends, and one spoiled French Bulldog.
