- Performing Month End Tasks including posting journals, reconciliation, balance sheet review.- Performed quarterly reserve calculation. Calculate excess reserve, obsolete reserve, lower cost market (LCM).- Compute profit in inventory. Analyze profit in inventory and justify profit fluctuation in inventory.- Compute goods in transit accurately with split of components. Accrued the splits to respective accounts, e.g; freight, duty, inventory, variance accounts and reverse the accrual following month.- Performed all financial related tasks including variance analysis(PPV), accruals, capitalization, amortization and reconciliation.- Performed account reconciliation, mainly on cost and inventory related account. Analyze on aged items and proposed action plan to clear aged items.- Performed item creation tasks when needed.- Performed various tasks related to spinoff, e.g; system testings, running report for both new and old entities, performed month end tasks testing for both new and old entities.- Updated the desktop procedures (DTP) for the tasks I'm performing.- Performed inventory transfer from old entity to new entity related to the spinoff.- Worked closely with internal and external auditors during audit.- Performed Post Closing Adjustment (PCA) when needed.
