I’m a gardening enthusiast. I’m fascinated by how, when given the correct environment and resources, a small seed can grow to a large productive plant bursting with fruit or flowers. Much like I cultivate my garden, I take an idea and lead a team to cultivate and nurture it to fruition. As a customer advocate, nothing makes me happier at work than partnering with a client, outlining their challenges, conceptualizing the solutions, guiding a team through the various options, and then operationalizing, iterating, and executing their optimal solution to achieve outstanding results.I have a knack for asking the questions others might not think of and for making the uncommon connections that help mitigate risk, garner efficiency and growth. I value a commonsense and logical approach to leading projects, developing, and implementing processes. I also genuinely appreciate a team-oriented approach where brainstorming and learning from each other is encouraged. Teamwork can also mean stepping outside your specific role at times. My attitude is that I’ll do what needs to be done, and wear any of the various “hats” required to keep projects moving. I’m calm under pressure. Ask me about one of the times I had to “stop the presses” and come up with solutions on the fly. That is an exhilarating feeling!My philosophy is that “we all live on this one planet where everything, from the little bees that pollinate our flowers, to the largest ocean is connected”.
