Square One, formerly known as the Convergence Education Foundation, supports innovative projects related to engineering, science and mathematics in the K-12 environment, as well as taking on important topics such as future workforce development through relationships built between K-12, university, and corporate partners.

The Convergence Education Foundation is dedicated to igniting the creative potential of youth in the exploration of engineering, science and mathematics. My role is to provide program support and project development for this growing foundation as we fund innovative engineering projects in schools throughout the Great Lakes Region with the assistance of corporate and university partners.

Directed the development of a comprehensive curriculum-based character development program serving over 3,500 students annually in the Pontiac and Mt. Clemens communities. Managed a staff of twelve paraprofessionals while interfacing with school district administrators, board members, and teaching staff. Financial responsibilities included grant writing, budget management and United Way proposals.
