After 28 years in Public Education, I left to DO instead of TEACH. But helping people understand the potential of a website, and to plan and see a project through launch and beyond is just another form of teaching. I build sites for a wide range of clients and for a wide range of purposes, but always with a focus on functionality, and clean, standards-based code.Specialties: I develop responsive sites using Joomla!, WordPress or just XHTML and CSS. I have customized the shopping cart SquirrelCart for a variety of stores, from musicians with a few products, to a furniture store with hundreds of products with thousands of options.I taught courses in Web Standards, Web Accessibility and Web Applications at the Marlboro College Graduate School.I teach Foundations of Content Management Systems for Community College of Vermont.I have presented workshops on custom templates at Joomla! Day New England, the CMS Expo in Illinois, Joomla! Day NYC.
