Before completing my PharmD, I was a Client Business Liaison that served a wholly owned entity of a major bank. Relationship management continues to be a common theme in my career as the CareSource Pharmacy Innovation Manager. My area of expertise includes provider engagement, strategic decision making for pharmacy programs such as Medication Therapy Management and Value Based Reimbursement, vendor management, and programs that support STAR measures, HEDIS gap closures, quality withholds and CAHPS ratings in a non-clinical capacity. I develop and implement new programs that meet corporate and regulatory requirements while identifying market opportunities to improve plan performance and better meet member and provider needs. I perform live provider training sessions and attend provider conferences to encourage the growth of our programs. My vendor management includes contract changes, partnering with compliance, legal and vendor oversight to ensure service level agreements are maintained month over month, and monthly/annual fiduciary oversight of pharmacy programs. I enjoy blending my business background with my clinical knowledge and look forward to growing my career in managed care.
