Barbara Anderson is a Private Credit Professional with over three decades of experience in the origination, underwriting and management of consumer and commercial specialty finance and other private credit transactions. Her most recent experience includes factoring, supply chain financing, inventory trade financing, revenue-based financing, equipment lending and leasing, consumer receivable asset purchases and medium term, secured corporate loan transactions. Her structuring experience spans senior secured first out and last out term loan tranches, fully followed asset-based lending, mezzanine financing, cash flow term lending and direct asset purchases both static pool and forward flow. Mrs. Anderson has over 30 years of financial services experience. She obtained formal credit training at National Westminster Bank USA after which she managed a $750 million portfolio of loans to consumer and commercial finance companies. After leaving NatWestUSA in 1991, she ran all business development activities for Allstate Financial Corporation (a publicly-traded factoring company) and held several senior business development positions for The CIT Group in the Mid-Atlantic region.From 1998 through 2009 Mrs. Anderson held senior management positions at BankBoston Retail Finance and BackBay Capital and started and managed three retail finance companies: IBJ Whitehall Retail Finance, LaSalle Retail Finance and National City Retail Finance. She worked with hundreds of small- and mid-cap companies as well as large public companies to provide in excess of $3 billion in financing for acquisitions, restructurings, bankruptcies, recapitalizations, and refinancings.Since 2009, Mrs. Anderson has been working with private equity and hedge funds to acquire portfolios of performing and non-performing, commercial and consumer, receivable asset portfolios.
