C40 City Advisor of the City of Rio de Janeiro, with the major role of supporting the City team in the planning and technical development of its Sustainable Development and Climate Action Plan, based on the methodology of the C40 Climate Planning Framework, which is aligned with the objectives of the Paris Agreement and the neutrality of emissions until 2050. - Technical coordination for the development of the Climate Impact Assessment for the City of Rio de Janeiro; - Technical coordination for the development of the Urban Expansion Scenarios analysis for 2030 and 2050.- Technical coordination for the development of GHG emissions reduction scenarios with the C40 Pathways tool; - Development of the City´s adaptation and mitigation targets and actions until 2030 aligned with the SDGs and 2030 Agenda, with the involvement of the City departments and external stakeholders. All targets and actions are mainstreaming in sectoral policies (including city and national level) and funds.

Project Coordinator for the development of the Climate Change Vulnerability Index (CCVA) and Adaptation Plan for the City of Recife, and responsible for raising funds for low carbon urban development projects.- City´s project coordinator of the Recife´s CCVA and Adaptation Action Plan.- Development of low carbon urban development projects to raise funds through the Global Environmental Facility (GEF) and development banks. Stakeholder engagement and organization of events (CityHall, Academia, Third Sector, citizens, multilateral banks etc). - Facilitation of the city´s engagement in networks and climate change global campaigns.

Responsible for the development of the Adaptation Strategy of the Urbanization and Social Housing sector. Project contracted by the City of Rio de Janeiro and presented strategic planning for 2040. - Vulnerability assessment of all 33 Administrative Regions of the city, through the development of new semi-quantitative indicators that make up a Vulnerability Index. Exposure Assessment of urban areas to climatic risks by quantifying formal buildings, favelas, and social housing units under zones of exposure to flood hazards, landslides, islands,s and heat waves with the assistance of ArcGis geoprocessing software.- Development of an Adaptation Strategy for the urbanization and social housing sector and recommendations with action plans to implement adaptation measures.
