Serves as a member of the President/CEO’s Association team, providing strategic leadership to attract, develop, and retain the best talent available. Responsible for managing the Human Resources department to provide cohesive support to the association in their efforts to build an employee-oriented, high performance culture. Ensures human resources practices and procedures meet the operational objectives of the organization. Oversees the development and implementation of human resources policies, plans and services, including recruitment, selection, training, legal compliance, employee benefits, compensation, employee relations, diversity and inclusion and employment practices and procedure. Advances the YMCA’s mission through executing our people initiatives, providing exceptional internal customer support and driving HR functional excellence. Works closely with all YMCA branches and leadership.

Managed full cycle recruiting for various departments; source and select candidates in an effort to improve recruitment related metrics including time to fill, quality of hire, cost per hire and sources effectiveness. Coordinate employee onboarding, background investigations and FCRA compliance, and new hire documentation.

Managed all Human Resources related issues including employee relations, salary administration, benefits, performance evaluations, FMLA and recruiting for forty Retail Branches, the Mortgage Department, and Pilot Supermarket Banking Program.
