-Analysis of the shipping lines market on our main traffics and routes to propose new options where it would improve our offers and service.-Contact and development of new vendors so we could broaden our options on the different traffics & routes-Daily negotiation with shipping lines to improve our margins on regular biz and to fight for new potential ones. This includes regional sihpping lines such as Seaboard or World Direct Shipping as well as international ones such as CMA, HL, MSK, etc.-Strengthen the relationship with existing vendors by closing new contracts and long term commitments.-Monitor the performance and validity of the different contracts to renegotiate in case needed or extend before expiration to avoid any disruption to the operation.-Support to our Ops department as link between shipping lines and our company for problem solving.-Weekly revisión of potential and closed biz with our Sales Dept to Exchange info regarding the market and mutually push our negotiations.

-Definition of the pricing strategy and profit margins that my Analysts team (5) would consider in their calculations. -Regular visits to customers in Latin America (PE, BR, CO, etc) to get feedback on our weaknesses and strengths; adjustment of our strategy accordingly so to keep our competitiveness but also our profitability.-Daily communication with Yield, Procurement, Operations and Equipment departments for problem solving and aligning strategies-Daily communication with sales leaders and teams for problem solving of our main customers and urgent revision of specific biz.

-Revenue analysis of the different countries and cargoes on the America's West Coast services.-Space distribution for each country according to forecast and budget definitions negotiated on a yearly basis with country managers (PE, BR, CO, BO, AR)-Daily communication with the sales teams in Latam to reconfirm usage of the assigned space to redistribute or push the pricing strategy in order to meet the targets.

-Daily negotiations and regular visits to shipping lines, trucking companies and airlines to provide the most aggresive levels for our sales department.-Weekly meetings with sales department to align our efforts so to further push our suppliers adding our customers feedback and market insight.

-Daily calculations of specific biz prices according to our defined margins.-Quarterly calculation and proposal of our FAK price list for Marketing Head revision.-Daily monitoring of the space utilization of each country on our respective west coast services and port calls

-Daily calculations of specific biz prices of expo cargoes from Mexico and Central America West Coast. Calculation and release of general Price list for sales department immediate response to customers.-Calculation and pricing of intermodal services in Mexico and Central America; ocean + inland freights.-Daily filing of USA freights as public tariffs or contracts to comply with FMC regulations

Quotation requests, comparatives and follow up with each service provider in order to create our portafolio with the most trustworthy and competitive ones.-Daily search for potential customers and suppliers on traditional business directories, as well as online searches.
