Work with Partnership for a Healthy Lincoln on Activity Friendly Routes to Everyday Destinations, providing technical assistance, reviewing city plans as they relate to equitable access to Active Transportation, and drawing public health and partner support for such plans, 2019 -2023. Co-wrote RWJ Active Living by Design grant application, proposal to Peter Kiewit Foundation for Nebraska Well Workplace project. As contractor for Midwest Dairy Council, June 2010-June 2011, promoted Fuel Up to Play 60 program to state organizations and provided technical assistance to schools participating in the program.

Worked with partners in community to facilitate linkages that contribute to successful youth, thriving families and stronger neighborhoods. Managed sub grant dollars bringing focus on health to after school time and full service community schools. Worked on community engagement process as member of Prosper Lincoln engagement team, a Collective Impact effort beginning in Lincoln. Planned Professional Development, providing technical assistance and creating resource guides to School Community Coordinators in areas of Nutrition, Physical Activity, Wellness, Community Building, etc. Worked with city partners to help bring attention to School Gardens : identifying partners, training, curriculum and resources to support that.

Worked with partners to implement policy/enviromental strategies to support healthy eating and physical activity. Wrote job descriptions, interviewed and supervised 3 community health educators for capacity building program. Continued building partnerships, providing training and technical assistance to partners, and releasing mini-grants to communities for cardiovascular health promotion.

Developed program in cardiovascular health promotion, including planning, intervention and evaluation. Wrote work plan, obtained funding, assisted in supervising Physical Activity Promotion Program. Provided technical assistance and training to local health deparments and health promotion coalitions. Assisted in planning statewide and regional conferences. Wrote for and received CDC funding for program (2000). Worked with partners to create NE State Plan for Cardiovascular Disease Prevention and statewide Cardiovascular Health Advocacy Team. Helped create national Cardiovascular Health Council with Association of State and Territorial Chronic Disease Directors. Worked with colleagues to establish statewide networks for health promotion within worksites and faith communities.
