Barbara Glazer is a business & marketing force in the Milwaukee non-profit arena. She has volunteered her time since 2001 to helping a variety of local non-profits through board leadership and marketing plan development. Building on her strong academic experience and professional leadership at Kraft Foods, Zeneca Pharmaceuticals, and Sky Zone Trampoline Parks, Barbara has used her skills to better the community around her. Some of her accomplishments include: 1. Building a successful franchise operation with sales over $8,000,000 in 10 years of operation, including over 250 employees, a call center, and management structure. 2. Chairing the grants committee for a local Endowment Fund - Analyzing grant applications and presenting the agencies to the grants committee for approval. This helped distribute $35,000 to non-profits annually in Southeastern Wisconsin. 3. Developing and executing four different community service activities for 1000 visiting teen athletes during the 2015 Maccabi Games in Milwaukee. Partnered with non-profit agencies in Milwaukee to build a new inner city exercise playground, package 25,000 snack packs for Hunger Task Force summer meals program, organized a unified track meet with Special Olympics, and built a new community garden to supply Food Pantry with fresh produce. 4. Participating for 18 years on the Investment Committee of a large Community Foundation. Over $300 MM in assets under advisement. Barbara is an active volunteer who is sharing her skills to improve the greater Milwaukee community.
