In December 2013, I went to Karachi Pakistan with Dr. Veronica Carey, Drexel Univ., for 2 weeks providing program assessment, training, and technical assistance to stakeholders (Admin/staff/participants/family/Board) at The Recovery House, the first psychiatric rehabilitation program in Pakistan -- our work there is ongoing. 2009 to date -- my home-based consulting business has supported continued work in the field of psychiatric rehabilitation services; ongoing consulting has included training, technical assistance, organizational development work with a variety of psychiatric rehabilitation and mental health programs including involvement with the PRA Pennsylvania Chapter PAPRS first on their Board of Directors, then as a Staff member, and now as an Advisory Board member;1987-2008 Matrix Research Institute and the Matrix Center at Horizon House. Conducted research, training, technical assistance, and dissemination activities. Products and services generated were focused on promoting positive recovery experiences through psychiatric rehabilitation and peer support services for people with mental health challenges focused on EBP employment services.This included training &TA in Japan with Karen Escovitz on employment supports.
