-Use multiple recruiting methods to attract candidates such as job boards, internet searches, social media, advertising, community outreach, job fairs, Department of Labor, Schools, Referrals, Distribution of Flyers and meeting with local businesses to help advertise our job openings.- Phone and in-person interviewing, cold calling and follow up on leads.- Onboard New Hires in our system and maintain data integrity on a daily basis.- Conduct New Hire Orientation and coordinate temporary hires activities through staffing agencies- Conduct Criminal Background Checks and Work References- Proactively building an ongoing pipeline of qualified candidates for critical and repeat positions to ensure future talent needs are met.- Prescreen and interview candidates to meet the minimum requirements for the job.- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System.- High volume recruiting experience in a transportation/logistics/distribution environment.- Hiring at high speed and in bulk openings.- Metric and results driven.- Internet savvy and experienced in social media.- Ability to work independently; show initiative and self-starter.- Experience in sourcing passive candidates through multiple channels.- Comfortable working with a high degree of ambiguity and ever-changing priorities.- Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail

• Identify employee relations issues and resolve appropriately with no supervision. Provide HR advise to management and respond to employee inquiries• Maintain an HR presence in assigned facilities by engaging on all levels• Lead the development and execution of the recruitment strategies and attending local recruitment activities and outreach events for in state and out of state• Analyze data and provides recommendations to management for improvement initiatives• Follow up with candidates to ensure information is updated on the interview process status• Use traditional and non-traditional resources to identify and attract quality candidates such as career fairs, community network events, etc.• Ensure new employees are on-boarded effectively• Effectively communicate HR related training and policies• Participate in staff meetings• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex HR policies• Work with General Manager to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations including Affirmative Action Plan compliance• Maintain records for all personnel and maintain files in compliance with applicable legal and corporate requirements to comply with all DOT regulations daily , certifications and renewals• Process all terminations/employee status changes via ADP• Provide guidance to employees on HR related topics including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc. as well as addressing inquiries on health benefits and 401k• Efficiently run and maintain a Drug and Alcohol program for all companies under FTA and FMCSA• 19A certifications, semi-yearly audits, yearly audits, and monthly add/deletions
