Hello everyone!My name is Barbara Horváth and I am a PhD student at the Széchenyi István University of Győr. I am mainly interested in international law, especially space law, the law of the sea and environmental law. My passion for space law started when I participated in the Manfred Lachs Moot Court Competition. Since then, I have participated in the competition again and have written several papers and a thesis on space law, and the focus of my doctoral research is on the legal aspects of dark and quiet skies protection. In 2023 I completed an internship at the Department for Space Policy and Space Activities of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, so I had the opportunity to get to know the practical side of the topic.I consider myself to be very hardworking and ambitious. I think I can work both as an individual and in a team. In my free time I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading and amateur astronomy.
