My consulting right now is being the South East Region Youth Advisory Board Coordinator. My job is to connect five regions in Pennsylvania to get youth involved in advocating for foster care reform.

I managed a case load of 13-15 families, and provided referrals to prevention, reunification and education services for children and their families.

My responsibilities for this position involved me using my personal foster care story to create positive change in the system. I worked with stakeholders on youth engagement, permanency for youth in substitute care and assisted in coordinating the Pennsylvania Youth Advisory Board.

I interacted and played with children who were living at various churches. I also coordinated with other student volunteers to keep the program going.
