*Support stores to leverage sales and profit opportunities in the areas of Safety & EnvironmentalCompliance, Shrink Management and Ops, AP/Operational P&L lines, Markdown Control, Theft & Fraud, Work Place Violence, and Business Continuity & Crisis Management. * Execute the Company's theft and fraud strategy. Review and analyze District shrink performance;identify trends; teach, train, and coach district's AP and Ops team, as well as the store's Operations Assistant Manager and associates, to effectively handle opportunities; monitor corrective action.*Conduct internal theft investigations and interviews as needed in partnership with Human Resources. *Teach, train and coach the store's Operations Assistant Manager and associates to achieve district alignment and consistency and drive change and execute process improvements across district. Drive initiatives to improve simplification of stores and removal of non-value added tasks. *Evaluate operational processes for areas of opportunity. Conduct and/or contribute in operational reviews; conduct monthly AP Performance Review; perform regular follow up walks of identified deficient areas; execute game plans, communicate with District Management on progress, partner with District Manager to improve leadership and performance in partnership with Human Resources. *Teach, coach, and train others on creating a safe work environment for associates and customersthroughout the district. Determine educational opportunities for all levels of associates and workthrough the District Manager and District Human Resources Manager to execute training. * Direct supervision of the AP and Ops Support Mgr(s) and AP and Ops Specialist(s)

Forecast scheduling needs to meet customer demand.* Recruit and hire qualified candidates. Determine starting pay and payincreases over time. Observe, evaluate, coach, train, and develop associates. Communicate Home Depot and store objectives to associates. * Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively. Walk the store withDistrict Managers, Merchants and others to stay proactive on merchandising issues.* Develop and communicate store standards to associates. Develop store mission, strategyand objectives and ensure that they are met. Forecast staffing needs. Study competition. Identifytrends.* Ensure safety. Verify deposits. Follow standard operating procedures for openingsand closings. Sign for petty cash, markdowns, time slips, refunds, price change take in reports, etc.
