A development professional that is responsible for all aspects of major gift fundraising with emphasis on relationship building through extensive field work. Solicit major, planned and annual gifts with a portfolio of 150 prospects and donors. Lead a team that solicits $500,000 -$1,000,000 gifts and achieved the $8,300,000 regional goal. Responsible for Mercy Health metro-Toledo hospitals and facilities as well as Mercy College. Provides leadership for the team to effectively raise over $300,000 at the annual gala event. Works collaboratively with physicians, service line leaders and hospital staff to grow employee giving, grateful patient giving and steward donors.As a part of the Mercy Health System, the Mercy Health Foundation, Greater Toledo is responsible for the philanthropic work of a Trauma One Medical Center and five community based hospitals and a variety of care sites and programs throughout the region. Care to patients across Northwest Ohio is provided by primary and specialty care sites as well as Life Flight aero- medical services. In total, the Greater Toledo region employs about 5,000 people and educates over 180 residents annually.
