As President of NAMI Orange County NC, together with the NAMI Orange Board, we set the direction for the affiliate. NAMI Signature Programs "Family to Family", "Peer to Peer" and "NAMI Basics: Caring for You, Your Family and Your Child" and Support Groups for family members and peers are our affiliate's top priority. Now that we have completed reaffiliation we will pursue additional Signature Programs "Ending the Silence" and the 4-hour Family to Family presentation. Membership growth, and increasing attendance to our Public Education Meetings are short term goals. Achieving financial independence, establishing an office, and board training and increased membership are longer term goals.
