Leadership and operations in the accounting and human resource departments were the assets I brought to this start-up company. Garnering skills like migrating data between accounting systems, start-up implementation and financial analysis, I had begun to establish processes to turn data into in-formation for clients. I have the unique ability to understand both operational details and the clients’ company goals to achieve the necessary changes. Unfortunately, the company did not grow in sales as expected and with the Covid-19 virus I was laid off. Primarily use Accounting Seed Software. I was laid off due to Covid-19.

I was able to provide my knowledge and skills as the company experienced growth and to expand the requirements needed from the Accounting and Human Resources department. Several of my accomplishments pertain to the leadership and organization of the company’s financial and operations sectors. I led in the accounting conversion from QuickBooks Pro to Microsoft Great Plains, and two years later, a conversion to QuickBooks Enterprise. I provided increased financial analysis reporting to compli-ment financial objectives. Twice, I played a key role in relocating the company to new office space. Operational improvements I made included establishing electronic record keeping of all facets of employee and payroll records as well as computerizing fixed assets including historical cost and electronic copies of each invoice. The company’s books had not been balanced nor financial reports prepared for eleven months. I brought the books current in less than three months. At that time, I provided all monthly financial reports for that period of time and met with the CPA firm to provide all necessary information needed for corporate taxes. This was a new company. The company was without an accountant for a month and needed to “clean up the mess.” I was hired to bring the financial books current as well as all the previous year’s unpaid local and state taxes. In nine years, I was promoted multiple times beginning as a teller and leaving in 1989 as the Assistant Vice President of Operations. At that time, I managed several departments and was responsible for 25 employees. Reporting to me were employees in the branch, back office bookkeeping and operations de-partment. I left when it was sold to another Savings and Loan and my job was eliminated.
