I was responsible for the management of finance and administration for the College, working with, and as part of the College Leadership Team. My key achievements were:• Collating and maintaining accurate and compliant data for Care Quality Commission and Ofsted inspections, and submission to the Education Skills and Funding Agency. • I improved processes to benefit staff, both residential and educational, as well as drafting the initial College budget for 2018.

JLL provides commercial and investment management services for investors and corporations in the UK and abroad. Following its merger with a property management company, I was transferred to the Finance Department to improve invoicing, data and compliance issues, and assess training needs of the new group.My major achievements were:• Established training needs of staff nationally; selected super-users at sites where JLL had a presence, and provided training to 150+ staff where there was no JLL representation. • Identified the need for and persuaded the business to invest in a single-entry data portal. This project, which saw the elimination of double data entry for invoices, was a huge success and was rolled out nationally.• Set up a process to report KPIs on invoicing and credit notes; improved cash-flow of the business as it resulted in the timely payment of invoices.• Reduced the number of credit notes raised from 65% to just 3% by June 2016.

Following JLL’s acquisition of Upstream, an independent sustainability consultancy, I was tasked with taking on a pure financial management role involving forecasting, invoicing, credit control and profitability reporting.I was fast-tracked on the JLL invoicing system, which was replaced just six months later by Client First and PeopleSoft.My major achievements were:• Redefined billing processes incorporating compliance requirements, which significantly enhanced the raising and timely sign-off of invoices.• Increased the speed of invoice generation times from 12 hours to immediate, following improvements to the global billing system.• Created and maintained a spreadsheet to access the viability of a project; enhanced consultant productivity and overall business profitability.

I was hired to establish the procedures and processes of this business, which had been running with limited control systems in place. I also managed all office stationery from sustainable suppliers, induction of all staff and financial reporting. 25% of my time was spent on PA duties, on both professional and personal undertakings.My major achievements were:•Designed the internal control systems of the business, which included processes, procedures, and all staff guides.•Sourced sustainable suppliers for stationery and printing, and organic foodstuff for meetings, which contributed to the company winning two GLA awards.•Managed the highly confidential acquisition by JLL; assisted with supplying information and relevant documents for the due diligence process.•Selected as Secretary to the Working Committee for the Highgrove Florilegium by the Chairman; managed several events including showing exhibits to His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales.
