Recently managed the procedure writing and publication process for Maintenance electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation and controls (I&C) at the Salem and Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station. Also provided procedure services for the Operations, Radiation Protection, and Chemistry groups.25+ years experience researching, writing, and editing procedures, analyses, calculations, reports, and various technical documentation for management, outages, license applications, emergency planning, inspections, audits, contract variation proposals, and court cases (responding to interrogatories, interviewing witnesses, and drafting testimony and discovery requests). Experience in the nuclear power, defense, civil, and radioactive waste management industries.Production of quality documentation began in emergency planning and preparedness at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. While working on the international Y2K project for the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), I became the highest achiever of contract deliverables, leading the communication effort with 14 national companies and supporting approximately 50 international companies. I also helped manage the international on-line database, supervised document control administrators, wrote the assessment and contingency planning sections of the Department of Energy Y2K Handbook, and manned the global early warning system. Significant accomplishments include (1) writing symposium proceedings on safety cases for deep geologic repositories on behalf of the Department of Energy and the International Atomic Energy Agency, and (2) writing and editing the first five sections of "Preclosure Safety Analysis" of the license application for the Yucca Mountain Nuclear Waste Geologic Repository Project. Experience also includes Prime Contracts Administrator on the Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, and Sr. Technical Writer & Editor at the Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant for the Department of Defense.
