My team’s project was called Behavior Without a Brain.Intrigued by the complex behaviors exhibited by unicellular ciliates, I devoted myself to understanding the sensorimotor activity of the unicellular ciliate Euplotes. This incredible organism navigates its environment using leg-like appendages, showcasing sophisticated movements without possessing any brain or nervous system.

As a COVID-19 Vaccine Intern with the San Francisco Department of Public Health in collaboration with UCSF, I've contributed to vital vaccine distribution and community outreach efforts.
