Promoted to VP of Integration in 2017, I lead a dedicated team in the strategic planning and implementation of client integration for new and existing business including acquired and organic hospital, ASC, and office-based practices. Through collaborative leadership with clinical, executive, operations, and support services team, we manage a network of over 1,800 healthcare departments / facilities in 45 states serving 35M patients annually.My team regularly exceeds on all service level expectations to provide seamless transition for internal and external stakeholders. Integration activities have included due diligence, staff modeling, contract drafting, proforma finalization, on-boarding/integration activities, and post close deal performance monitoring.Key accomplishments include:- Mitigated inconsistency in process/deliverables, coordinated support services, and provided service line expertise to operational partners for over 300 organic business projects in 2020.- Developed and implemented enterprise-wide standard account level validation process to ensure accurate data capture per specific department requirements (RCM/Quality/IT/PE/MC).- Implemented standard diligence activities for all new business onboarding and existing business changes such as entity transition, expansion of services and termination of services.- Delivered enterprise-wide IT solutions enabling reporting capabilities at entity/facility/service line levels; automated workflow inputs (e.g. Salesforce, SharePoint) and standardized practices to drive efficiencies.- Recruited, hired, developed, and led 14-member IMO team to exceed client service level expectations.

As National Director, I led the effective operationalization of over $500MM in acquired and organic growth contracts over a two-year period ensuring deliverables were completed on-time and in-budget. I also served as the main contact and liaison for new client facilities, local leadership, and practices.Key achievements included:- Received Sheridan Healthcare’s highest honor in operational excellence, “2016 Pinnacle Award.”- Developed standard clinical and operational diligence playbook for new organic and M&A business.- Onboarded clinical groups and administrative staff and implemented integration processes including pro forma development, facility contracting, clinical contracting, accounting set-up, credentialing, provider enrollment, managed care, timekeeping, payroll, and billing functions.- Implemented project management tools and automated workflows for all new organic business and project managed changes to existing EVPS clinical contracts.

Collaborated with clinical leadership to provide operational oversight and financial accountability for over 40 anesthesia practices in South Florida, New England, and emerging market areas involving the strategic planning and development of staff and budgets of over $100MM annually.Key contributions included:• Implemented national clinical / operational strategic initiatives on all perioperative processes (OR efficiency, PAT, Surgical Case cancellation, OR delays) utilizing lean process techniques.• Strengthened market presence with competitive intelligence; tracked shifts in technology, success criteria, and trends to improve practice service delivery.• Onboarded organic new business within the emerging markets in addition to managing existing book of business; developed and managed C-suite level client relationships.• Collaborated with market leaders to develop cross-specialty product and service offerings.

During my 17 years of service at Cleveland Clinic, I oversaw operations of the Anesthesia Division for their 150-bed hospital and outpatient surgery center. This included the creation of call schedules, staffing, and time keeping with additional oversight of their 3-provider Pain Management clinic. I prepared and monitored monthly financials and operating room utilization reports, and managed daily billing/reimbursement operational activities. I also stayed current on all CMS/commercial payer policies and procedures, audited post-payment and revenue recovery, and ensured compliance of CMS rules and regulations and guidelines.Key accomplishments included:• Successfully relocated hospital-based pain clinic to office-based medical center and increased revenue.• Oversaw all coding and billing functions for Anesthesia and Pain Management departments.• Built new anesthesia billing system database: updated provider/charge master files, tested software, and trained new employees on software.
