Evaluation of services delivered thru the Wraparound Process for the System of Care Initiatives; Educate family members and other stakeholders regarding data collection, measurement tools, interviewing process, analysis, qualitative evaluation as well as quantitative; use of evaluation data to encourage change in policy and process. -- Conducted extensive quantitative interviews with families receiving wraparound services, as part of the national longitudinal evaluation, required by SAMHSA.-- Created and conducted our own local qualitative and quantitative studies in order to attain actual data on families' personal experiences in services. -- Built a Community Evaluation Team with family members, youth clients and fellow evaluators to ensure evaluation is FAMILY-DRIVEN and design studies, etc., with families to empower them with the POWER OF DATA. -- Served on one SAMHSA System of Care Initiative Program for the entire 5+ years and serving on the second System of Care Initiative in North Central Texas-- Community advocacy/support groups--Member and staff consult for the local family consumer groups focusing on family-driven services and cultural competency and using evaluation data to attain the above.-- work to assist others in educating the community regarding the System of Care Concept for Children's Mental Health Care Transformation in North Texas.-- Seek out ways to form partnerships throughout the community to work toward legislation, advocacy and education, using national and grassroots efforts to battle STIGMA, DISPARITY, RACISM (and other forms of Prejudice) in Mental Health and all social services.
