I started as a staff nurse in Pediatrics and became supervisor in 1985. I have stepped in as interim manager twice during this time. While I love being a supervisor, my heart enjoys the clinical aspect of my job the most and my role includes functioning in the charge role as ALS where I attend high risk deliveries. I am currently in a BSN program. Projects have included screen development for the implementation of computerized charting for both Peds and NICU and teaching classes to educate RN's on the new computer program.Specialties: Pediatrics and NICU, level II; ALS skilled in intubation and umbilical line insertion and attend high risk deliveries. I have a CPN for Pediatrics and RNC for high risk neonatal nursing; PALS, NRP and BLS.
