CollaboratorNemak 2022 - Jul 2024In order to find flaws in the structure of a mirror, a vibration analysis was carried out. A solution was proposed for better functionality of the piece. Based on the possibility of selling and producing 50,000 pieces per year, we experimented with 3 different materials, and with 4 different manufacturing methods. Subsequently, we carried out R & R studies for the different parts and finally an economic analysis to verify the viability of the selected manufacturing method. Together with Nemak, a team prototype was made in which a prototype had to be made that had to lift a motor of a certain weight so that it could go to the assembly line. This had to move in the x, y and z axes.
