I am a member of the leadership team within the IT Systems and Infrastructure department. I manage a small team, and lead on the following statutory returns:• Student, to include Data Futures.• Aggregate Offshore Return (AOR)• Unistats Return• Provider Profile• Staff ReturnAs part of this post I have a clear understanding on all related operational processes, which is achieved through engagement with staff at all levels. This post includes the management of data quality.We operate SCRUM methodology using Kanban as a management tool.I am currently attending the Aurora programme supporting Woman in Leadership with HE.

Within the HR department, and I was responsible for Zellis's (formally NGA) integrated HR/Payroll system, ResourceLink, from strategic planning to system configuration. I initially completed the final stages of a migration from systems such as Chris21 & Visual Personal. I lead on a second systems migration from another Chris21 application into ResourceLink using RL integration tools such as PayFrameWork & HR Interface. We parallel ran, and I development a highly accurate testing process. I implemented a number of functions, to inclue structure units, post to post reporting, absent management processes, fixed term contract management, external integration, etc. I managed the in house reports for statutory requirements and business processes. I developed and deployed MyView for self service and the management of annual leave (with dashboard and multi post). I was also responsible for the staff HESA return and the management of data quality.The role involved extensive work with many levels across the group.

- Systems integration- Data transformation- Process analysis- Application DevelopmentI mostly worked in SQL (using T-SQL), SSRS and SSIS with VB.NET.Some of the work involved working closely with HR and developing elements of NGA's ResourceLink. In my later years in this post I became responsible for the HESA staff return.During my time in this role, it resulted in working with a variety of systems and technologies within the university, focusing on student data & processes. Integration into a variety of dependant systems became my area of expertise.

Working in SQL and HTML/ASP to help with regular routines and in house systems, specifically Goldmine and Navision.

Responsible for the network, to include LAN and WAN, firewalls, servers (multiple AD domains to include exchange) and desktops. This included the desktop managed, domain management, devising backup routines, DR, purchasing, etcResponsible for recruitment within the team, to include interviewing and awarding posts. Followed by staff appraisals.Project work included relocation of the main warehouse and offices to new location. A joint venture with JML hosting a bidding channel, and working with new procurements into the business group.
