Barbara Larson is the founder of and wealth management advisor at Larson Wealth Planners. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, she works with couples and individuals approaching retirement to grow their finances and eliminate the uncertainty that causes fear of the future. For more than 35 years, Barbara has been clients’ trusted financial partner—helping navigate life’s transitions and challenges—while helping them enjoy the money they’ve worked hard to earn.Barbara received her master’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado at Boulder and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1992. After working for the Internal Revenue Service and gaining experience in corporate and personal tax and accounting services, Barbara founded Larson Tax & Financial in 1995. To meet the needs of her clients, she evolved the firm’s services in 1998 to include investment management and became advisory licensed in 2001. She obtained the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2005.Today, Barbara leverages her experience and tax knowledge to develop tax-intelligent investment strategies and complete financial plans to prepare clients for their desired futures.
