About Barbara Re

As a proactive and adaptable researcher, with a solid experience in Computational Fluids Dynamics (CFD), I have developed cutting-edge simulation tools for unsteady inviscid flows with non-standard features. Engaged in the innovative application of models and methods, I keep on expanding my horizons by collaborating with developers, researchers, and experimentalists, and by seeking new challenges in the engineering and applied mathematics fields. My research interests focus primarily on the design and usage of innovative numerical methods to simulate complex flows problems, including multiphase and multi-physics ones. The ultimate goal of my work is to develop accurate, robust, and practical simulation tools that enhance the design and the analysis of the present and future technological applications that could provide a cleaner, safer, and more enjoyable world to everyone.
