• Apply engineering principles to technical challenges to create practical solutions and provide technical support across interdepartmentally• Lean Six Sigma: Pursuing six sigma black belt certification, investigations and root cause analysis, optimization of processes (8 waste reduction), value stream mapping, implement visual factory principles• New product development/expansion of product lines into new markets: provide design for manufacturability guidance, assist with scale up and transfer, updating and/or creating new controlled documents (parts, routers, BOMs, work instructions, engineering specifications, forms, etc.), assisting with the validation and verification activities.
