7/2006 - present: Direct and oversee all Pathology Department Operations at the Center for Diagnostic Pathology building and offsite campus pathology services. Departments include: Histology, Cytology, Immunohistochemistry, Diagnostic Hematology, Pathology Specimen Processing, Pathology Transcription & Support, Pathology Send-Out Testing, Research, Tumor Boards and Morgue services. 5/1999-7/2006: Direction and oversight of Anatomic Pathology services at the main hospital laboratory as well as the following Clinical Pathology areas: Chemistry, Hematology, Phlebotomy, and the Laboratory Safety & Regulations and Performance Improvement coordinators.

Coordinated the Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement program for Florida Hospital Laboratory including Laboratory risk management at the Orlando campus.

Assisted the Chemistry supervisor with training, writing SOPs, preparation for accreditation inspections such as CAP and JCAHO, performed competency checks of staff and students, ordering of supplies and reagents, performance evaluations, and new instrument and procedure validations. Taught both didactic and practical semesters for Florida Hospital's Medical Technology Program.

Bench technologist in the chemistry lab. Experienced in automated and manual methods including special chemistry.

6/1987-4/1988 : Production Scientist -Assisted in research & development of conjugates for the Stratus Enzyme Immunoassay Instrument. 5/1985-6/1987: Manufacturing Scientist - Performed in-process testing for all manufactured products for the Stratus line.

Performed all manual microbiology testing and automated chemistry testing for nursing homes and private doctor's offices.

Assisted in the manufacturing of Counter-Immunoelectrophoresis and thin-layer chromatography products.
