Dance Exchange is a participatory dance project that involves different people from the community. It is meant for people with various cultural backgrounds to come together and learn from each other different styles of dancing. Volunteers with extensive experience in dance teaching help participants with some knowledge of their traditional dance to prepare a safe and effective dance class. I recruit and co-ordinate volunteers and participants, manage a budget, plan, promote and execute the project.

English Student Theatre is a high school musical theatre group. I did research/archiving for the "Art of Change" exhibition of Chinese contemporary performance art at Hayward gallery. My focus was on contemporary art installations and performances in China in the period from 1988 to 1993.

As a choreographer's assistant, I was working with a group of children aged 9-14. My work included basic technical (dance) training and running rehearsals for performances in musical theatre. I assisted the project manager of the association with marketing and communications tasks, which included contacting local media, recruiting performing arts professionals for workshops, as well as promoting musical theatre and language learning projects for children and youth.

As an expert on Chinese language & culture, I acted as a bridge between Chinese CEO and Slovenian employees, customers and business partners. I was responsible for daily administrative tasks, diary keeping, planning & arranging business meetings, writing and translating documents, CHN-SLO-CHN interpreting, market research, PR and marketing solutions, customer issues and feedback. I got an insight into the Chinese way of doing business, I developed my communication and translation skills, learnt to deal with high pressure and huge responsibilities, and through creative ideas helped the company to evolve and position itself as a strong competitor in local fashion retail market.
