I believe as a nurse, I am a tool for change, and there is much to be achieved... - Promote patient teaching in the health care environment or in medical companies that need patients to fully comprehend their treatment and goals. Patient education is key to a successful out come in any treatment plan. Education has been sidetracked, to the detriment of patients and hospitals that have to absorb the cost of mistakes, due to confusion, fear and lack of understanding. - Promote continuing education of proper aseptic technique for health professionals in the hospital environment to reduce hospital acquired infections.- Promote cost containment and efficiency in the hospital environment.-Promote change.
