Develop workforce strategies for the Department of State Bureaus that fall within the Office of the Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security based on careful, research, innovation, past practice and extensive experience. Facilitate the bureaucratic processes, communication and understanding of these plans to work toward successful implementation of succession planning, which is urgently needed due to the vast number of senior experts, negotiators and scientists who have retired and are currently eligible for retirement. Research, prepare and coordinate documents needed to assist in building the infrastructure of a proposed new Department of State organization.

Provided outreach to emerging professionals on arms control, verification and compliance issues. Development of the next generation of professionals working on, studying for and engaged in these and other nationals security issues.Led efforts within the Department on outreach to high school, college and graduate level students to expose next generation to international security issues that require STEM as part of the expertise to negotiate with foreign interlocutors, create policy within the national security arena and advocate for positions held within your area of expertise to support Administration policies.On behalf of the the AVC Bureau, managed program and contracts with the DOE and mentored graduate students participating in the NNSA Graduate Fellowship Program.
